Lady Gaga vs Sugababes demo

Evening all

I've had this demo on the go for about 5 months now n just went back n forth on it as I couldn't find a good quality Pokerface acapella, just the crusty one that needs a busy instrumental to hide its flaws.

The demo consists of:

Lady Gaga - Pokerface (acapella)
Sugababes - Push The Button (instrumental - 128k MP3) :-(

I hope someone can offer a bit of advice on whether to continue with it or whether I can do a few Melodyne tricks on it to make it work.

Please post any advice/tips into the forum where u found this

Cheers
Rob

Madonna vs Mr Hudson mash *tweaked*

Evening mash up fans

I got sick of the overly psychadelic nature of the vocals on my original 'Mr Hudson vs Madonna' mash-up.. I was aiming for psychadelic but it was too much to stomach later, so I tweaked it.

Here's a link to the tweaked version:-

Any comments (in the forum you found this) are greatly appreciated

Amerie vs Duffy demo

Evening mashup fans

Just posting a demo slice of a track I've had on the go for a month or two now, left it n now come back to it.

Amerie - Take Control (acapella)
Duffy - Warwick Avenue (instrumental)

Just wondering whether to continue with it as I initially liked the blend of both tracks but as my pitch is wobbly at the best of times, I'm just seeking the opinion of someone more experienced to determine whether to save myself a few evenings work on continuing with it & finishing it.

All comments (good, bad n ugly) in whichever forum u found this post is would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks in advance

New Usher vs Klaxons mash

Hi Kids

Made an arse of the previous mash by finding my headphone output was too high 'Mmmm nice n loud sounding that is'... oh no it wasn't... (and certain articles shouldn't tamper with my technology!!!!!)

Nope.. it wasn't properly mastered. No BEEF, PUNCH or KAPOW!!! So having compressed the individual tracks and mildly compressed the final output, it sounds miles better...

I still need some hints and tips for mastering. I'm fine mastering a track from scratch, but mastering for mashing is a little bit harder. Anyone willing to impart their mastering skills?....... Danmei? ;) as suggested by CjR...

Tried a bit artwork but my PhotoShop skills have rusted away, but have properly named/ID3 tagged the MP3 but hope Mediafire don't take it down (my previous ploy was to name it weirdly n not tag it so that it got through the Mediafire net having been victim to having files taken down)

Anyway, less of my bulls**t n here's the newer mix for interested parties
